Project Emaya War (Prototype ver.)

I made this for a game jam called Devs United #3.  The theme was deceit.  I thought "All warfare is based on deception" and did my best to make a game that reflects that.

It's a turn-based strategy game that is inspired by the games of Squad Leader I'd play with my dad.  It's much much simpler than that though.  There is a how to play guide in the main menu.  Edit:  I think I forgot to mention that you can move the camera with w,a,s,d and zoom in and out with the scroll wheel in the how to play guide.

I made this game by myself in Unity.  I made the art with Aseprite and the sound effects are actually recorded from my firearms collection.  The gunfire sounds are the only things I made that pre-date the jam, since I pulled them from videos I recorded on my phone years ago.

Update: I really liked working on this, so I'm considering it to be like a prototype now for a more full game.
