A downloadable game

Overview:

This is a top-down action game.  There are some stealth elements to it, but it is not required.  You have a limited inventory and must manage your resources and gather what you can from your enemies.  (Note: stand directly on top of a dead enemy or a chest and open your inventory to loot)

Keyboard and mouse support only.

The AI:

As this is for the AI and Games Game Jam, I will briefly overview the AI here.  There are two different AI in the game, both are relatively simple.  The individual enemies have a very basic state machine.  They do have some trouble navigating as I insisted on writing my own pathfinding rather than using existing solutions, for the purpose of learning and for the jam.  If this were a full project I'd try something else.

There is also an enemy commander that reassigns units between screens of the game and sends reinforcements when you are spotted, there are some limits to how often and how many units can be moved.
